Have you stopped studying after a year or two of college? Don’t worry—there’s a way to continue your education without starting from scratch. Osmania University Distance Education gives you a chance to finish your degree by transferring your credits from your previous college. This way, your hard work and precious time will not go to waste.

You can complete your degree, and no one will know (except you) that it was through distance learning. The certificate you get is the same as students who go to regular college. This means you will not face any problems or judgments from others.

What You Need to Do

If you left your studies in the middle (anytime after year 1), you can join Osmania University Distance Education if they have a course similar to the one you were studying. For example, if you were doing BBA or B.Com, you can continue with a similar course at Osmania University. Even if you don’t have the same course, you can attempt to join some similar course based on your syllabus and subjects studied in your degree.

The whole process takes about 15 days and costs around Rs. 3,500, including all the fees (tuition fees for college are separate). After that, you are back on track to complete your degree.

Benefits of Studying in Osmania University Distance Education?

In India, many people think distance education is not as good as regular college. I will not get into that debate but I know that Distance students face some discrimination. The Good news is that Osmania University does not mention “distance” on your final certificate, memos or anywhere except TC, so it looks just like the degree certificate of regular students. This way, you don’t have to worry about people thinking less of your education. Another bonus is that you have no attendance requirement. No need to come to college, only come for exams directly.

This is an illegal practice but you have limited options. Paying and getting it is one option, going to police/court is another. Either way, you need go get it done. If you can’t get the TC, ask the principal to sign and stamp the transfer form C. That will be enough. Shown below.
